oh that is awful!

I also read in the paper today on the way home from work that 214 people have died from the cold of this polish winter! I can't believe it! It makes me think of just how many things in my life i take for granted.

My mum told me about the collapse when I rang her over the weekend. Apparently, it was major news in Ireland and Britain. I made the collapse our lead story on our international page yesterday. I put in a small piece on it today too. I spent a couple of nights in Chorzow back in the 90s. My son has relatives there.

How long more have you in Singapore? I used to live in Toa Payoh and I worked close to Braddell MRT in the centre of the island. Borders bookshop on Orchard Road is a good place to run into other Westerners.
